Naming Was The Check

A function asserts a security-relevant verification through its name (verify, verified, validate, check), its return-type struct, and its error messages. The function's body performs only structural gates around the operation the name refers to. The cryptographic, authorization, or integrity step the function claims to run has no corresponding call. Downstream callers treat the function's `:ok` return as proof the named check was performed.
